We are looking for a passionate Vice President, Late Development Team Lead, Oncology to join our innovative team. As the leader of the Late Development Team (LDT), you will drive the strategic and operational progress of a global product through late-stage development to approval, focusing on scientific innovation, speed, and patient value.
Responsibilities
- Lead and establish the product vision and strategy with the LDT and cross-functional teams.
- Identify global product development opportunities to optimize patient value.
- Develop integrated product development plans and oversee regulatory filings.
- Provide operational leadership, mentorship, and strategic guidance to team members.
- Collaborate with functional heads to ensure alignment on development strategy.
- Manage project budget, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Engage in disease area assessments and collaborations with external stakeholders.
- Contribute to enhancing cross-functional team structures and processes.
Requirements
- Over 15 years of global multi-disciplinary drug development experience in the pharma/biotech industry.
- Demonstrated success in late-stage drug development leadership and regulatory submissions, especially in Solid Tumor Oncology.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and alliances, balancing innovation with program risks.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Advanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD) required.
