VP, Late Development Team Lead, Oncology

Job Description

We are looking for a Vice President, Late Development Team Lead in Oncology to join our global biopharmaceutical company, Jazz Pharmaceuticals. In this critical role, you will lead the Late Development Team (LDT) in shaping and executing global product strategies across the late product lifecycle. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned executive with exceptional cross-functional leadership skills and a strong scientific background in drug development.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional LDT(s) to develop and execute product strategies from proof of concept to approval.
• Create and implement a vision and strategy for the product with input from functional teams.
• Identify global product development opportunities to optimize value for patients.
• Drive team effectiveness, set clear expectations, and mediate conflict resolution.
• Provide strategic guidance to functional matrix teams and support activities in clinical development, regulatory, and commercial areas.
• Collaborate with organizational leaders to align on development strategy and prepare for governance reviews.

Requirements

• 15+ years of global multi-disciplinary drug development experience in the pharma/biotech industry.
• Proven track record of leading complex late-stage drug development programs.
• Experience in Solid Tumor Oncology drug development and regulatory submissions.
• Strong leadership skills in managing collaborations and alliances.

Education and Licenses

• Advanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD) required.
