Athletic Trainer

Job Description

Blount Memorial Hospital is seeking an experienced Athletic Trainer to join our Sports Medicine Program. As an Athletic Trainer, you will provide services at sporting events, community events, and in the clinic to athletes. You will assess athletes, monitor progress, provide physical therapy care to various populations, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assess athletes and monitor progress.
• Provide physical therapy care to pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care processes.
• Provide patient, staff, community, and family education.

Requirements

• Current Athletic Training license by the State of Tennessee Division of Health Related Boards.
• CPR Certification required.
• Membership in a professional association recommended.
