Job Description
We are looking for a talented Community Bank President/Ag Lender to join Bank Iowa Corporation in Newton. In this role, you will be responsible for generating quality Ag and Commercial loans, representing the bank in the community, and leading a team of Relationship Managers and Loan Assistants. As a specialist in Ag and Commercial lending, you will build strong client relationships and actively participate in civic and community activities to establish Bank Iowa as a center of influence.
Responsibilities
- Lead the bank's values, culture, and strategic direction.
- Drive community bank loan and deposit growth through business development activities.
- Manage an agriculture and commercial loan portfolio.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships within the Southeast Iowa Region.
- Participate in civic and community activities to enhance the bank's visibility.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Ag Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience as an Ag & Commercial Loan Officer.
- Strong Agriculture background preferred.
- Supervisory and management experience.
- Ideal candidates will have leadership, credit analysis, underwriting, and sales experience.
