Job Description

RICH TRANSPORT LLC is currently seeking a diligent Dispatcher to join our Dispatch team. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing driver activities, ensuring on-time deliveries, and maintaining effective communication with load planners and management. This role requires attention to detail and proficiency in handling dispatch calls and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Enter Bill of Lading information, ETAs, PTAs, and Trailer numbers daily.
• Communicate promptly with load planners and management regarding any delays.
• Collaborate with other driver managers and dispatchers as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of driver activities and truck mileages.
• Monitor driver hours and ensure compliance with driving regulations.
• Contribute to a positive work environment by promoting professionalism and teamwork.

Requirements

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure dispatch environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and McLeod database.
• Experience in building manifests and splitting loads based on delivery times.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
