Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Description

We are currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join Pediatric Associates of Greater Salem Inc as the Care Team Nurse. As the clinical leader, you will work under the supervision of the Pediatrician, Nurse Practitioner, and Nurse Manager to provide direct care, manage high-risk patients, offer education to patients and families, and ensure smooth operations.

Job Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency in infection control and age-appropriate pediatric care.
• Assess clients' needs and refer them to appropriate facilities.
• Provide urgent care and triage services, maintaining accurate records using EMR.
• Coordinate communication between patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Administer medications, vaccines, and conduct in-office procedures.
• Facilitate post-discharge follow-up and coordinate with home care services if needed.
• Engage in pediatric-focused education and training.
• Adhere to practice policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a care team.
• Proficient in handling medical information and maintaining HIPAA compliance.
• Knowledge of EMR, Microsoft Office, and email systems.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current LPN license in Massachusetts with BLS certification.
• Continuous learning to meet licensure requirements.
• Adherence to ANA Standards of Practice.
